Software tester Internship

You would benefit from gaining professional software testing experience through summer placements and internships. If you love finding and fixing bugs in programming and coding, you could be suited to a career in software testing. You’ll conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. Ultimately software testers are employed to find bugs and issues within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users.

Responsibilities

Social Media Internship

We train you how to utilize Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn to keep and maintain its wide audience throughout the Metro DC, Virginia and Maryland Region. The intern will be trained by an Engagement Specialist will show how to build a body of work focused around Meetup, contacting new connections, reaching out to Causes, and promoting the ANC brand over a wide range of platforms. Training of the Social Media Engagement Intern will be ongoing, and hands on, while giving the intern freedom to work offsite, and at various hours which will not conflict with class or curriculum.

 

Responsibilities

Use online tools like Facebook, You Tube, Flickr, and blogs to promote and publicize ANC Campaigns, Events, Causes, and Articles. Learn how to engage online and on-the-ground supporters throughout the Region.

Hours

1 hour per day and work from home! 

Qualifications

Familiarity with blogs, RSS feeds, online social networks such as Facebook, Flickr, YouTube and other “web 2.0” tools. Please have strong online research skills. Intern will occasionally play a role in membership management, promotion and website updates.

Marketing Internship – Northern Virginia

Gain the valuable motivation, training and focus you need to succeed in the professional world of marketing analytics, social media and copywriting. We will complete any required documentation or paperwork to earn internship credit for school. We ask that candidates would be able to work about 20 hours minimum per week during the summer.

Learn:

  • Content Management (Twitter & Facebook)
  • Brainstorm on ideas for contests and concepts to gain followers, likes, and retweets, etc. on Twitter/Facebook and other social media sites

Entry Level Events Coordinator

You will learn to manage, create, and support our internal programs and classes for international students through our F-1 Student Network program. This person will play a key role with our current Human Resources team and will learn the different critical roles in company and learn growth and team development.

This is a great opportunity for international students that are from the US or from foreign countries, who wish to learn about the American business culture in general. Our interns acquire hands-on experience.

Availability: Online assignments with Flexible Part-time

What you will learn

  • Learn outreach to local employers in order to develop permanent employment, short-term labor, paid internships, and job shadowing opportunities.
    • Learn to form partnerships with local employers to provide supportive work environments for internationals who need more structured employment experience
    • Learn to manage employer relationships to promote retention and creation of international jobs
    • Learn to maintain referral list of local employment opportunities in order to inform internationals and staff of recent job openings
  • Learn how to develop job opportunities for internationals in the community by developing high level relations with business owners, general managers, human resources departments and company recruiters over the phone and in person
  • Learn how to create a human resource tracking system for international students using Microsoft office
